The last few weeks have seen BCC members ply their abilitys in far away fields, Matty Teggart is still in France riding for the AC Bisontine team and reports are coming back that he is performing well and is still hopefull of selection for the irish team for the World Champs in spain at the end of the month, also during the week I was speaking to James Curry who has just returned from Switzerland were he was at the UCI headquarters in Aigle, James tells me he learned a lot during his trip and he even got to race his mountain bike were he finished a brilliant 3rd in a quality field,on a different stage club stalwart Gerry Beggs was mechanic to the irish parcycling team in the road world champs in South Carolina were the team had great success winning 4 medals including 2 golds, not to be outdone club triathlete russell white was in Edmonton Canada competing in the U23 world champs were he finished a brilliant 18th and was well pleased after a hard season, well done boys from all at Banbridge CC.
