Fantastic reports of results coming back from Manchester Velodrome of Banbridge CC’s Shenna McKiverigan’s remarkable results at the UK School Games – after 2 days of competition Shenna has finished 5th overall in the U16 Keirin following some aggressive riding to make into the final and earlier this evening finished 8th overall in the 500m TT.
The level of the competition at the UKSG has elevated this year with the inclusion of additional foreign teams including that of Brazil who have turned up in force, all adding up to approx. 60 riders in Shenna‘s category – so the competition is fierce!
Congratulations to Shenna (and Mummy Nicola!) on a fantastic games so far and best of luck tomorrow as the games continue
