4 February 2015 Adam McGreevy

The Travers Engineering Annaclone GP is the traditional start to Ulster’s road race season. The event promoted by Banbridge CC always gets a good field and we expect that this year’s event will be no different. There will be two races on offer, both of which are pre-entry. Entry opens this Thursday 5th Feb at 7.00pm and will close on  Wednesday 18th Feb at 7.00pm although it is unlikely that there will be any spaces left by that time. Entries will be via Entry Central.

The races take place on Saturday 21st February with  sign-on open at  10.00am. The race starts at 12 noon with a roll out from the event  HQ at  Annaclone GAA club at 11:45 sharp.Entry £12 each.  Refunds are available up to 7pm on Friday 20th, minus a £2 administration charge/fee.

There are two races available as below
Race 1 – A1’s, 2’s &  3’s. Approx. 47 miles.
Race 2 – A4’s only,  Approx. 40 miles.

Single event/day licences available will be available at the sign-on at a cost of £17 (€20) for non-CI members (have not taken out a 2015 licence), or £8 (€10) for those upgrading from a leisure or limited competition licences. Riders in Banbridge CC who hold a Limited Competition licence are eligible to ride the A4 event without an upgrade.
