Ryan McBride has been going well in the under 8s in the Cyclo-Cross Ulster championship in his 1st year in this category. The six year old hasn’t let the step up to the older age group phase him and is competing hard every week. There has been no podiums as yet for the young Banbridge man but every week he finishes smiling so he’s enjoying himself.

He’s sitting well in the overall Championship in 7th out of 30+ boys so there is bigger things to come from Young McBride. Also young Matthew McAlister did well in his race finishing 9th from a very Strong field. It’s great to see another era of young talented riders coming through Banbridge Cycling Club.
