Further to our previous update a week ago, 14/03/2020, Banbridge CC have decided to extend the cancellation of club events as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) response.

Given the unprecedented environment we all find ourselves facing, all club activities involving group participation are cancelled indefinitely. We will continue to monitor the advice and guidance provided by the Public Health Agency and Cycling Ireland and will of course provide further updates as developments filter through.

As a cycling club we fully understand and appreciate the importance of physical activity.  Staying active maintains and improves both your mental health & physical wellbeing, which is so important at this time.

If you are cycling please do so in safe and appropriate environments, while always keeping in mind the latest Public Health Agency and Government advice.  Please do not cycle in groups.

We fully encourage club members to keep in touch with one another, whether it be by telephone, WhatsApp groups or the various Social Media outlets available to us.  We all face the challenge ahead together as a community.

With the developments regarding COVID-19 changing on an hourly and daily basis both locally and further afield, personal and social responsibility is key.

Stay safe, active and well.
