Peader Curran came out the winner of the 2020 Wills Cup on a night where some fantastic times were recording which should have sent all riders home satisfied with their efforts.

Taking almost 5 minutes off his HC target time, Peadar’s obviously been putting in a huge effort with his training during the off season. Other notable rides include Chris Burns who also took over 4 mins from his HC target and John Buller, fresh from victory in Drogheda at the weekend, with a 21:15 – an impressive time in any case, but on a road bike on the lumpy and rolling Castlewellan Rd, his form is clearly there. Visitor James Curry also had a great ride to post the fastest time of the evening with a 20:57.

Next week’s club race is the Skelly Cup Circuit TT. Due to roadworks on the course the exact circuit details will be confirmed following the weekend.
