Luke Osbourne and Paul Wilkinson were once again the quickest pairing on the night for Round 2 of the Mac 2-Up Trophy, recording a time of 21:29 over 9.5 miles on the rolling Castlewellan Rd. It was enough to give them an almost 30 sec cushion against the 2nd fastest pairing of Stephen Fitzsimmons and Mark Downey.
One of the stand out performances of the night was of father and son duo Paul and Riley Smith. With Riley, 14, pairing with his father Paul (age undisclosed!) to post a time of 23:19 which was enough to see them as 4th fastest BCC pairing on the night and ahead of some notable seasoned and in-form racers.
