The Cycling Skills programme (previously known as Sprocket Rocket) is a Cycling Ulster initiative to encourage more children to get on their bikes by providing a friendly and fun training programme.

We plan to run this programme during the month of August. The aim of the programme is to increase the competence and confidence of young riders,  and each session aims to develop the fundamentals of cycling – balance, braking, cornering, pedalling and learning new skills in a fun, safe and controlled environment.

It is aimed at those children who are new to cycling and want to learn new and additional skills.

The course will start on Monday 7th August and will run each Monday for 4 weeks.  Any type of bike is suitable but it must be in working condition and everyone must wear a cycling helmet. All sessions will be held at Banbridge Academy, Lurgan Road Banbridge starting at 6.30pm and finishing at approximately 8:30pm.
