Banbridge CC’s winning streak continued today courtesy of John Ervine who had an emphatic win in the C3 race at the Grouch GP, promoted by Orchard Wheelers in Richill. John’s win means that club now has 6 victories to date this season from 5 different riders across all 3 open race categories.
It was another day that also seen multiple podium placings for the club with Gavin Clarke close behind John in 3rd place and the ever consistent Aaron Parks picking up another 2nd place in only a matter of days.
The lads were also keen to point out and thank the club volunteers who travel to the races to assist from the roadside and team car, ensure the team is fully supported when needed. The team travel to Wicklow tomorrow morning for the Bray Wheelers promoted Shay Elliott, one of the countries classic one day race which attracts the best riders from across the island.
