Newcomer to Banbridge CC for the 2025 season, Nathan Mullan, wasted little time in making a visible impact and has been constantly visible in his new Banbridge colours on the open racing scene. This week he claimed his first victory of the year by winning the Mourne Observer Cup road race. Promoted as part of the Banbridge Inter-Club Race League with a road race held on the Kinallen circuit. Starting out as part of the scratch group in the handicapped event, Nathan worked his way through the limit group to reach the finish line ahead of visiting rider David Montgomery of Spellman Dublin Port and Banbridge CC’s Mick Martin.
Next week’s event is the Quinn Cup 25 mile time trial. Entry is now open, here.
