Last week we were excited to announce that Banbridge CC will enter a team in this year’s Rás Tailteann for the first time in our 80-year history. We were also delighted to share the news of some of our supporters for the event, including Galibier, Downey Cycles, and Dale Farm.
We’re delighted to confirm Telefónica Tech UK&I as one of the team’s key sponsors for the ’25 Banbridge CC Rás Tailteann team. Many will of course already be very familiar with Telefónica Tech as the club’s main sponsor for the last 3 years, becoming the first ever jersey sponsor of Banbridge Cycling Club. The prestigious arrangement links the club up with a truly global technology brand that is closely associated with cycling at the highest level through its sponsorship of the UCI World Tour team, Movistar Team. The teams’ entry to the Rás is a new milestone for the club and demonstrates the progression of the racing level and participation within the club, which has been facilitated by Telefónica Tech’s partnership and support since 2022.
Banbridge CC’s Team Manager for the Rás, Martin Duffy, commented “Banbridge CC has grown from strength to strength with the help of Telefónica Tech’s sponsorship. We’re delighted to receive extended sponsorship for the Rás and the team are excited to showcase the development we have achieved together over the 5 days racing.
